Students of Ira International School participated in Inter School Classical/ Semi Classical Instrumental Music Competition organised by Kids World school on 25th January 2024.

Our students won 3rd prize in instrumental Music on " Tal se Tal mila" theme homage to RD Burman's Songs. Students were awarded with a trophy.
  
Under 17 Girls and Under 17 Boys Hockey Team of Ira International School participated in " Khasdar Krida Mohotsav Hockey Tournament " at VHA Nagpur. Both the teams won the prestigious Tournament and were awarded with Trophies Medals.

Ira International School's Hockey Team has added one more feather on Ira's Cap.

Purva Dhandare, Yashasvi Kubde, Lajo Rahangdale of Ira International school have been selected for School Games of Federation (SGFI) Nationals . First they will be attending the Camp which will be held in Jilha krida sankul, Miraj, Sangli from 27 December 2023 to 1st January 2024. After completing the camp they will be participating in the School Games of Federation (SGFI) Nationals tournament which will be held in Kodagu, Karnatak from 4 January to 8 January 2024.

In a thrilling display of skill and determination, Ira International School girls under 17 are the State Champions as they emerged victorious in the highly anticipated Maharashtra State Hockey Tournament held at Pune. The team's stellar performance led to a resounding score of 5-4 victory over their formidable opponents Kolhapur, from the first whistle to the final buzzer, the girls demonstrated exceptional teamwork, showcasing their prowess in both offensive and defensive plays. The standout performances on field 1-1 tie scored by Ms. Akshra Awari.

In Tiebreker scored by Ms. Yashasvi Kubde, Ms. Athulya P.S. Again tie with 3-3. In sudden death scored by Ms. Yashasvi Kubde and Ms. Purva Dhandre were crucial to the team's success, with each player contributing significantly to the scoreboard were Ms. Maitree Thakre, Ms. Nidhi Barbuhare, Ms.Anchal Saini, Ms. Samiksha Yelane, Ms.Ishika Wanjari, Ms. Lajo Rahandale, Ms. Shrawani Tulankar, Ms.Netra Pillai Ms. Maithili Matkar Ms. Preeti Arya. 

School President Ms. Rimple Lohia blessed the girls to remain focused on future challenges and competitions, aiming to continue their winning streak and make their mark on the National stage. Singing Competition 23-24

The Ira International innocent voices once again touched the hearts and left the audience speechless and bagged the first position in Junior group of grade 5th to 7th at Freedom and Patiotic Song Competition, organised by the Karmaney School of Excellence. The children performed with great courage and enthusiasm thegroup singing participants were Ms. Pranjali Khode, Ms. Aeram Bawala of 5th, Ms. Yoganshika Surkar, Ms. Aaradhya Patle, Ms. Manvi Khodke, Ms. Muktai Dahule of 6th, Ms. Anushree Hore, Ms. Shruti Bhagat, Ms. Mugdha Bhore, and Ms. Anandi Wankhede. On the instruments were Mst. Nachiket Surkar, Mst. Ojas Chopde, Mst. Harsh Dwiwedi and Mst. Anirudha Chauhan of 7th. The students received Trophy, Cash prize and certificate. School music teachers Ms. Seema Zade and Mr. Deepak Bhojraj guided and supported the students. Yashasvi Kubde of Ira International School participated in 13th Hockey India sub-junior women national Championship 2023. She represented Team Hockey Maharashtra. The tournament was held in Rourkela, Odisha. The tournament was dated from 4th May to 14th May 2023. The whole team was given Hockey Sticks by Hockey India. Prize worth – 22,000/-

Jyuthika Bodkhe of Ira International School participated in 1st Hockey India Junior Women west zone Championship 2023. She represented team Hockey Maharashtra. The team secured Runner-up position. Ira International school, Nagpur has been accredited and rewarded the prestigious British Council International School Award 2020-2023. The school registered for ISA award in the session 2019. With 7 projects under the able wings of Mrs. Reena Dargan , Principal & the teachers , the students got the opportunity to explore beyond the boundaries and expand their knowledge and learning. Online Drawing Competition Students achievements

Virtual learning and competitions have not stopped students to perform at the best. Ira International School, students participated in online drawing competition organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad South-West Branch Nagpur, recently where fifth to eleventh grade students showed their drawing skills on the Topic- Environment Day. It was an open virtual competition where students attempted accordingly at their pace. The budding talents of Ira International School, brought laurels to School by participating recently in “Swargiya Shrimati Kamalatai Devande Smriti Prityarth” Solo Patriotic Singing Competition, organised by Vanita Vikas Vidyalaya and Junior Mahavidyalaya, Ganesh Nagar, Nagpur. Twenty five Studentsparticipated to showcase their special singing talents by uploading their videos on Patriotic Songs. Students Miss. Yoganshika Surkar of grade 4 th bagged the First position and Miss. Anandi Peshkar of grade 5 th won the Second position they were appreciated with trophy and certificates. Ira International School Butibori under twelve Girls Football team bagged the Lokmat Interschool Football Tournament by 3-0 against Mount Carmel School Ajni organised by Lokmat Maha Games recently where the goals were made by Ms. Trisha Pendam and Ms. Srushti Dakhole. Navbharat Navarashtra Hockey Tournament


Splendid performance! Once again by the Girls Hockey Team of Ira International School bagged the Championship of Navbharat Navarashtra Hockey Tournament ( girls /boys ) one day open match held recently, where the girls team played their semifinal with Khel Khiladi Khel team and won by 5-0, The goals were scored by Ms. Tanisha Sengar, Ms. Himanshi Gawande, Ms. Prerna Bodkhe, Ms. Palak Sharma and by Ms. Anjali Ambadare.

The final was with R.K. Club and won by 3-0. Ms. Sharvari Kumbhare scored one goal and Ms. Himanshi Gawande clinch the two goals. 

Ms. Himanshi Gawande was declared the best player of the tournament. The other team members were Ms. Jyuthika Bodkhe, Ms Purva Dhandare, Ms. Trisha Dudhankar, Ms. Anchal Saini, Ms. Samiksha Yelne, Ms. Yamini Bisen, Ms. Aditi Tayde, Ms. Mahi Patel, Ms. Ishika Wanjari, Ms. Yashasvi Kubde. Carol Singing Competition held at Bishop Cotton School

It’s Christmas Season and with pomp and enthusiasm Ira International School‘s melodious choir, under the guidance of Sir James Ingole & Sir Yanni Naidu participated in the Bishop Cotton School Carol Singing Competition recently this December. About sixteen schools participated to share the coming of Christ through their voices. The notes of School Choirs symphony secured the second position amongst all school by singing the classic traditional song “The Carol of the Bells”. Recently Somalwar School Waddhamna organised “ Somalwar Fest”in which students had to recite shlokas and poetries. Ira students participated in all the categories and by putting up exemplary performance, showcased their remarkable language skills & bagged prizes in all the categories. In Sanskrit Bhagwat gita shlok pathan, Aarohi Ramteke of Class Ukg won 1 st prize & Lavanya of class 1 bagged 3 rd prize. In Marathi poetry recitation, Shruti Bhagat won 1 st prize. NEERI Science Model Exhibition - cum -Competition

The students of Ira International School Butibori has brought laurels to the school by winning the first and second position at CSIR NEERI Science Model Exhibition - cum -Competition recently it was on the occasion of 77 th CSIR Foundation Day. Mansi Saoji and Piyush Gotekar of class VII prepared the model on Membrane Distillation and bagged the first position in category 1. 

Jaya Singh, Siddhant Verma and Ankit Rai of class XI presented the model on Waste Water Treatment and bagged the second place in category 3. The students got the opportunity to display their innovative science models and came across various models in air pollution control, water technology and waste management. The students brilliantly explained on their models and won the trophy and certificates. They were guided by the science teachers Mrs. Neelakshi Thombre and Ms. Jaslin Khan. The Students of Ira International School participated in “Cenfest” at Centre Point School. Katol Road Nagpur in On the Spot Maths Model Making Competition and bagged the second position Kunal Khodhe, Aryan Ambatkar of class five, Mansi Saoji and Piyush Gotekar of class seventh prepared a model of Finding HCF of numbers. In Long jump Aman Dhyani stood in the 1 st place and Jaidev Nair the 3 rd place.

In 100 mt. Jaidev Nair bagged the 2 nd place and in the Shootput Ankur Chaursiya got the 3 rd place, Jawelin throw Ankit Devedi bagged the 2 nd position and in the relay stood the 3 rd position. They were given the championship trophy, certificates and medals.

Selection of Girls Hockey Team


Four students of Ira International School Himanshi Gawande , Sharvari Kumbhare, Prerena Bodkhe and Ishika Mandal went for the trial selection on 23 rd to Pune. Where Himanshi Gawande and Sharvari Kumbhare have been selected in Hockey Maharashtra’s list of probable players for the 9 th Hockey India’s Sub-junior Women Championship Division A, which is going to be held at Hisar in Haryana from May 27 th to June 7 th . The selection trials were organized by Hockey Maharashtra at Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mhalunge, Balewadi where twenty six players are selected.

The training camp will be held at Pune from May 2 nd during which eighteen members will be selected. Himanshi appeared for forward position, Sharvari gave trials for midfielder’s post Himanshi has represented Vidarbha in three National meets while Sharvari has played twice for Vidharbha.

Sanskriti Samvardha Partishtan exam based on Ramayana, Mahabharata & Krantigastha was conducted in Ira International School in the month of January 2019. The following students have excelled and bagged 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals. The gold medalist are Yadnavi Choudhary of class V and Saurabh Singh of class VII. Silver medal was received by Kapil Asthankar of class v and Vanshita Sarda of class vii and the bronze medal was given to Anjali Barewar of class vi and Bharti Yadav of class viii they were felicitated at the hands of The Primary Education Minister Mr S. N. Patve at the Scientific Hall.

SOF International Olympiad 

Ira International School students once again secured its place with the international competitive exams held by the SOF International Olympiad securing 3 medals of distinction, 23 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 6 bronza medals in the school toppers level one exam.

International General Knowledge Olympiad Vegath Ramteke and Muktai Dahule of class 1 got the distinction gold medal, and the following students were awarded the gold medals Swara Vairagade of class 2, Sumit Sambhare and Sharvil Gaikwad of class 4 and Kapil Ashtankar of class 5.

For International English Olympiad the gold medallist are Shruti Bhagat of class 2 Nihal Umretka of class 4, Kapil Ashtankar of class 5, Sankalp Singh of class 6 and Mayank Roy of class 7.

National Science Olympiad, Kaustubh Rakhade of class 9 got the distinction gold medal, , Manvi Khode of class 1, YadnyaviChoudhari of class 5, Aniket Sahare of class 6, Smriti Mishra of class 7 and Ashutosh Yadav of class 11 got the gold medals.

The gold medal toppers for mathematics are Samira Jaiswal of class 1, Radika Gadiwan of class 2, Chavali Bala Anish of class 3, Yashasvi Kubde of class 4, Shreya Mishra of class 5, Debodyoti Sharma of class 6, Arnesh Shinde of class 7, Parth Pashine of class 8 and Sameer Yadav of class 11 .

The silver medal toppers for mathematics are Aryan Parida of class 1, Durva Pardhi of Class 2, Bhavik Girde of class 4, Vaidehi Gadiwan of class 5, Mansi Saoji of class 6 and Nikhil Rode of class 11.

The theme was Indian Heritage and Culture. Himanshi Gawande of Ira International School selected for School Games Federation of India National Championship in the Under -17 Hockey

Himanshi Gawande of Ira International School represented School Games Federation of India National Championship in the Under -17 Hockey which was hosted at Ranchi, Jharkhand from 29th to 3rd December. 

Himanshi played from Maharashtra Team. She played six matches against different states and contributed six goals in the entire tournament and Maharashtra team is at the second position creating history after fifty years to qualify in the finals. Himanshi gives her credit of success to the school PTI and coach Mr. Shahid Bux . She was felicitated in the school assembly. It was indeed a proud moment for all Iradians who applauded her with great pride. Principal Mrs. Reena Dargan and the entire school staff congratulated her on her exemplary achievement and wished her good luck for the coming tournaments.

The first match was played with Uttar Pradesh it was a league match Maharashtra team won by 4-0. Second match was with Chattisgarh won by 2-0 where Himanshi scored the first goal for the teamthird match was with West Bengal and won by 6-0

Once again keeping upto the tradition of the school Ira International 268 students appeared for the Rashtrabhasha Hindi Examination. 
Five students secured gold medal they are 
Daksh Kawle of class I, Siddhi Rathore of class III, Prathamesh Zade of class VII, Nidhi Mahaiske of class VIII, and Aarshi Singh of class IX. Two hundred and four students passed in first division, Forty six students in second division, Thirteen students in third division.

The Students of Ira International School Butibori participated in CULRAV- an inter school fiesta organized by Delhi Public School Lava with its Theme “Conservation of the Environment” Students participated in various events for Drawing and colouring – Aditi Bhagat begged the 2nd position.

Fancy Dress the Theme was “Elements of Nature” for which Shruti Bhagat begged the 1st position. The Group song begged the 2nd position . In the Quiz Competition students Neha Talokar and Harsh Pantankar begged the 2nd position.

National Education and Human Resource Development (Mumbai)
The students of Ira International School Butibori added another feather to the cap by winning Nine Art Excellence Awards and Gold Medals.

National Student Exchange Programme 2018 

Recently National Student Exchange Programme 2018 was organized by Gyan Ganga International School Jabalpur recently in association with AIELS in which 17 states, Ira International School participated in the Theme Song on Gender and values. The live performance balanced with instrumental music mesmerized the audience and the judges and helped the participants of IRA to secure 2nd position. Students who won the prize were Sejal Narendra Raut, Diksha Naik, Vaidehi Zilpe. Students also participated in Thematic Jingle Advertisement which grabbed the attention of the audience who appreciated the presentation. The team secured 3rd position in the Jingle Advertisement . The winners are Aditya Mishra, Pooja Paliwal, Jui Dethe, Chaitanya Kolhe.

It was a wonderful opportunity to think out of the box. The competition not only served its sole purpose but also gave the students a platform to display vivid ideas and learned more by interacting with others. Patriotic Group Song Competition

Gaikwad Patil International School had recently organized ‘Jazba- E- Hind’ patriotic group song competition. Ira International School’s students sang Sursangam Talsangam song and bagged 3rd position Ms. Arya Ingole student of class 4th played harmonium and Ridhesh Nakade of Class 8th played Tabla. 
The winners were awarded with a trophy and One Thousand rupees cash. The singers were guided by Mr. Parijat Kalikar, Mr. Deepak Bhojraj and Mrs. Shilpa Komalkar. Principal Mrs. Reena Dargan congratulated the winners.

Ira International School participated in “collage making”. In group II interesting Topics were given to the participants and asked to make collage on one of them. Ira’s Anushka R Bansule and Pratiksha R chaudhary of class VIII displayed their creative skills and stood at 2nd Position by impressing the judges. Ira International School Participated in Sanskrit Stotra Recitation Competition organised by G H Raisoni Vidyaniketan to make students aware of the glory of this ancient language. 

The Senior group students, Vedant Deotale of class VIII and Ishika Mondal of Class IX recited Shivatandav Stotra and bagged 1st position. Junior group , Aniket Sahare and Gunjan Burde of Class V recited the stotra beautifully and stood at 3rd position. The students were guided by Mrs. Anjali Chopde and Mrs. Poornima Upgade. Girls Hockey Team of Ira brought laurels to the school

Once again the girls of Ira International School’s Hockey Team made the school proud by getting selected in Vidharbha Hockey Association’s junior girls Hockey team. Himanshi Gawande, Sharvari Khumbhare, Vaishnavi Gulhane will be playing in India’s 7th Junior National championship, Division B, which will be held at Bhopal from April 27th . The able guidance was given by school coach Mr. Shahid Bux. Principal Mrs. Reena Dargan congratulated the proud players for their remarkable achievement and wished them good luck for their Matches ahead.

Excellent Performance in Olympiad by Kaustubh Rakhade 

It is indeed a proud moment for Ira International School, as Master Kaustubh Rakhade of Class VII bagged gold Medal of excellence as he stood 7th in Zonal Ranking of National Science Olympiad. He was also awarded a cash prize of 5000 and a gold medal in the 2nd round of NSO and secured 2nd rank in the zone . 

Kaustubh’s historical 14th position in International Ranking speaks of his excellent performance and was applauded by one & all. Principal Mrs. Reena Dargan congratulated Kaustubh for his excellence in the exam.

The biggest musical extravaganza “ Global Harmony 2015” multilingual Drama Dance, Music contest organized by Akhil Bhartiya Sansksrutik Sangh was held recently in Thailand on 29th December 2015 at Aksra Theatre. Ms. Ashwini Meshram
Dancer Teacher of Ira International School was selected in the same for final round with Dance Style as kathak. Ms. Ashwini bagged the second prize and received silver medal. She had participated in first round held in Pune at Jawahar Nehru Sanskriti Bhavan in the open category and got first prize in the same. Mrs. Vinita Rocque for getting prize from Vidharbha Seva Samiti Nagpur.

Vidarbha Seva Samiti Nagpur on the auspicious occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Acharya Vidya Sagar Ji had organized a programme at Hutatma Smarak at Gandhi Sagar Lake Subahas Road Ganesh Peth on 25th October 2015.

The function was preceded over by ACB Inspector Rajeev Jain & the Chief Guest was advocate Prakash Jaiswal. In this programme six Hindi teacher from Nagpur were felicitated for their service towards Hindi. Among them was Mrs. Vinita Rocque of Ira International School was also felicitated with memento, Shawl, Shriphal, Flowers and cash prize of Rs. 1000/- to all the award winners

HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

Ira International School’s Hockey Team had added another colourful feather to its cap by grabbing Winner’s Trophy on 15 Oct at the Final Hockey Tournament held at VHA Ground organised by Hitavada and Baidnath Groups. It was under 16 girls boys Hockey Tournament. Ira’s Team entered into Final by winning the Semi Finals. The Finals was played with Swami narayan School , and won by 1/0 Goal. Prerna Bodke of Ira shot the goal after 15mnts as the game began and it 
proved as the winning goal for Ira.

This match verdict that each member of Ira Hockey Team owns a substance of winner in herself as fire members bagged Individual Achievements Prize. Women of the Tournament was received by Prerna Bodke with each Prize of Rs. 1000. The best Defender was awarded to Ritu Biswas with cash Prize of 500 Rs. Shreya Singh got the best Goal Keeper with cash award of Rs. 500. Women of the match award was bagged by Varsha Tripathi . cash prize of Rs. 500 was awarded to her. A special Prize was announced by MR. Siddique was The Best Player of the Tournament which was also bagged by Ira Team Member Ritika Gaurkar with cash prize of Rs. 500. The team member were, Shreya Singh, Shailee Gowardhane, Sameera Kamble , Ishika Mandal, Ritika Gaurkar, Himanshi Gawande, Schi Kamble, PRerana Bokde, Vaishnavi Gulhane, Anushka Bansule, Sharvari Kumbhare, Alka Upadhyaya, Sushma yadav, Bharti Yadav, Rahi Illme, Simran Bahtti, Ritu Biswas, Varsha Tripathi.The winning Team was coached by MR. Hindi Rashtrabhasha Exam

Like every year, this year also Ira International School Butibori had organized Rashtrabhasha Hindi Examination in the School with a 100% results. In all 375 Hindi Loving students from classes I to X had participated in this Exam out of them eight student’s secured gold medals. We had 277 students securing the first division, 87 students secured 2nd division and 2 students got consolation certificate. All students were awarded participation certificates. Principal ma’am Reena Dargan had felicitated all gold medal winning students. Hindi dept incharge Mrs. V Rocque and Mr. Anil Belokar were also felicitated for their valuable guidance and ma’am Principal also give a gold medal and certificate for the same. Staff, Principal and the school management congratulated all students.
